About
One million minutes, which is just less than two years, can feel like a long time to wait for success in an age of instant gratification. If you are someone with ambitious goals, the reality is that it can take time to get to where you want to be. Using the metaphor of climbing a mountain, we assume that success is marked by the moment we reach the summit. But if that moment corresponds to only the final of one million minutes, it’s important to remember that the previous 999,999 minutes of trial and error are what make the mountain. When working towards a big goal, each minute invested in the climb counts, even when we have failed to reach the summit yet. The vision of the one million minutes project is to offer resources for self-directed learning and for carving out ambitious new paths.
